News from Perth Comitium.

And so we travelled to New Norcia

Friday the 6th October 158 Legionaries and Friends from Legion of Mary throughout the metropolitan area travelled, on 4 buses, to New Norcia for their annual pilgrimage to celebrate the Feast of the Most Holy Rosary.  Three of the buses stopped for morning tea at St Anne’s Catholic Church in Bindoon where Fr Paul Fox made us feel extremely welcome although he was very busy coordinating the setting up of a transportable building on the site.  The 4th bus made their morning tea stop at Our Lady of Revelations Shine in Bullsbrook.

All the buses met at New Norcia where we participated in Holy Mass celebrated by Fr Hugh Thomas.  Many members took the opportunity to visit the Museum and view the beautiful art works that are held there.  The facilities at New Norcia were opened to the Legionaries who were able to eat their lunch under the trees or in the comfort of the dining room of St Ildephonusus College.

The Legion of Mary would like to express their thanks to all who took part in the day,  the drivers of the Adams Coachline Coaches, Fr Hugh Thomas, Fr Paul Fox, Belinda and the Monks at New Norcia, without whose assistance our day would not have been so grace filled and spiritually rewarding.
